Cat.

We must have known each other for, oh hell goin' on 10 years now. We hang out everyday, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. We've had times where we couldn't get along but right after we'd be back having fun and messing around as usual. He's out of school now and we're both starting to get older and our days are wearing thin. I refuse to accept the fact I will fade before him but as he once told me, "As a friend/brother, I promise you will never be replaced"

I can begin to feel my body start to shut down, the days are getting greyer. I hope he remains happy years, decades, after I’m gone. We influenced each others lives, throughout the adventures we had and the troubles we overcame. Long after I’m gone I hope he knows I will still be around when he is having troubles. As I leave this world with so much experience and happiness I have just one thing to say, not bad for a house cat.
